The building located in Teaduse 2 was built in 1974 for the Saku plant protection station. Since then, there have been several restructurings that have created new areas of activity. However, the main activity has always been related to agriculture. The remodelling of this office building started in 2020 and the goal was to insulate the outer envelope, remodel the utility systems and adjust the architectural appearance. Also, the goal was to preserve the original appearance and form of the building, and to modernise the interior architecture and climate. The main plan of the building is special, as it has several building wings. The terrain has also been taken into account.
